Theme Parks

I have personally been to the following theme parks and plan to return to them again soon. I'll be adding posts below to highlight these theme parks and others that I will visit.

EPCOT - Flower and Garden Festival - April 8, 2020

EPCOT holds four special events each year. Today I am thinking of the Flower and Garden Festival for several reasons. First, I was blessed to be there on opening day this year in March. Secondly, I am suppose to be there again in May and I am still not sure that will happen. But as I look at pictures, I can dream. Looking forward to travel is one of the things that is helping me get through this unusual time in history.

Flower and Garden is typically held during March, April and May each year. In addition to many beautiful flowers, I have always loved the topiaries of the various Disney characters that can be found throughout the park.

Attending the Flower and Garden Festival again in 2020 may not happen, but I hope as you are home this spring, you will dream of a trip I can help you plan for later this year or Spring 2021 for the Flower and Garden Festival.

Like the Food and Wine Festival held in the fall, there are special booths set up throughout EPCOT that allow you to sample some delicious food not offered in the normal restaurants in the park.

The flowerbeds along the ponds between Future World and the World Showcase are always spectacular. The floating flowers are also a favorite. Those I have actually duplicated at home with some success.
